Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Flash by m4ntech for using Flash, the digital disposable camera for events. By creating an event or joining one, you agree to them. We’ve kept them as plain as we can.

1. Using Flash

Flash is for capturing and sharing memories at your own events. You agree to use it for that purpose — to run events you host and to take part in events you’re invited to — and to follow any laws that apply to you. You’re responsible for the account you sign in with and for the activity that happens under it.

2. Inviting guests

When you host an event, you agree to invite only people who consent to take part. Guests are shown a consent notice before adding any media, and adding photos, video or voice is always a deliberate choice. Please respect the people in your event and only capture and share content you have the right to.

3. Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of the photos, videos and voice “tapes” you and your guests create. Flash does not claim ownership of your memories. To provide the service, you grant us the limited permission we need to store, process and display that content to the participants of your event — for example, to host it, reveal the album and let invited guests view and download it. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. Acceptable use

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Flash. You agree not to use Flash to:

  • Upload content that is offensive, abusive or otherwise objectionable — including nudity or sexual content, harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, graphic violence, or content that exploits or endangers anyone.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Capture or share media of people who have not consented to take part.
  • Harass, impersonate or target another participant of an event.
  • Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or misuse the service.
  • Use Flash for anything other than genuine events and memories.

We may suspend or remove access, or remove content, where it breaks these terms or the law.

5. Reporting, blocking and moderation

Every photo, video and voice tape in an album can be reported from inside the app, by any participant, with no need to email us first. You can also block another participant at any time — their content is then hidden from you everywhere in Flash, and you can undo it from the People screen of the event.

The host of an event can delete any individual photo, video or tape, and can remove a guest from the event so they can no longer capture or view it. We can do the same for any content on Flash.

We act on every report within 24 hours of receiving it: we review the reported content and, where it breaks these terms, remove it and — where warranted — bar the user who posted it from the service. Reported content in your own event notifies you as host immediately so you can act sooner. To reach us directly, email business@m4ntech.se.

6. Pricing

Flash is priced per event, not as a subscription. Creating a small event for a handful of people is free; larger events are a one-time price based on guest capacity. You pay for the event you create — there is nothing recurring, and nothing for your guests to pay. Any purchase you make through the App Store is also subject to the App Store’s own terms.

7. App Store terms

If you download Flash from the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple’s standard licensed application end user license agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where those terms apply, they operate alongside these.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Flash reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change or discontinue features over time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the service.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Flash at any time and delete your account and media from within the app. These terms continue to apply to any use before that point, and any provisions that by their nature should survive — such as content ownership and liability — remain in effect.

10. Changes to these terms

As Flash evolves, we may update these terms. When we make material changes we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Flash after an update means you accept the revised terms.
